Some of the individual components may be worth more than the entire lift it self. Such as the pushbuttons, elevator enclosure and doors. You can post a classified ad over on www.elevatorgear.com, which is free, to see if anyone is interested or not. Other than that, old elevators such as yours can't be installed into newer buildings because they don't meet current elevator code. When running in existing buildings they are typically grandfathered from needing to meet the uptodate codes. It’s difficult to put a price on an old elevator like the one you have.
