		<description>I suspect the plate may be that of John McLaughlin Elevator Company of Boston. Long gone. EW did a story on his building which was one of those in Boston with a plethora of iron grillwork - maybe 30 year ago. We had a fine evening of lobster but he was well along in years and has probably gone to the Great Penthouse in the Sky! - Bill</description>
