Antique Elevator Cage For Sale
May 2nd, 2009
Again, the Internet amazes me! It’s not every day you see an antique elevator for sale! I am not sure who manufactured the entire unit but I can identify the car control pushbutton. The pushbutton station is an old C.J. Anderson and parts are still available for it. For $4900 and change this could be yours.
Note that it would be ideal for any residential elevator. Passenger elevators for public use would not allow the unit because it doesn’t comply with the new elevator codes.

I am very very interested in the elevator cage you have for sale. Would it be possible for you to send me more info – shipping costs and/or pick-up location. Also – could you send some additional photos? I have been searching for one for a very long time and appreciate any additional photos and info you could send. Thanks very much. Cheers!

I am trying to salvage a 3 story elevator from building demolition in the month of Nov 2009. I am in the Seattle, WA area. I realize you would not be interested in a modern elevator, but could you point me in a direction of someone who may want this elevator or someone who might know someone. I can send photos and more detailed information upon request. We are trying to salvage and recycle 100% from this building- nothing to go in the landfill.

Hi, I recently bought an old funeral home in Iowa which originally opened in 1923. Didn’t know there was an elevator in it until after I bought it. I think the elevator is neat, but have no use for it. Everything is still there hooked up, but it just sits in my basement. I posted a classified ad for it on http://www.elevatorgear.com under fun elevator stuff. There are a few pics there also. If you are interested in it, check it out and let me know… ajdunlap1@netzero.com
